Fuel System
It all begins with a fuel pump.
I got an Aeromotive 340 Stealth 11142. It was bigger than I needed, but that’s ok. I ran -6AN line for feed and return on my setup. The ethanol content sensor is placed just after the pump. There is a one-way check valve before an Aeromotive 12345 10-micron filter on the feed side. In order to run E85, I got a set of Bosch 850cc injectors from Fuel Injector Connection. I have the B16 Spec V intake manifold, so I got a junkyard Rogue fuel rail and had a mild steel -6AN fitting welded on the end of it for return by the guys at United Speed World in Tampa, FL. After the fuel rail, I went with an Aeromotive 13136 fuel pressure regulator and put a Radium fuel pressure gauge on the front port. For good measure, I found a 12” inline single-pass fluid cooler from Allstar Performance to run on the return side before a PQY 100-micron fuel filter just before the fuel gets dumped back into the tank. That was very complicated. I’m also running a Stinger solid state relay as advised by my tuner to supply the power the larger pump needs.
