Gauges
Innovate SCG-1 Boost Controller
I chose this boost controller because this unit sends data for logging in Uprev. It can also add boost and even cut boost if the air/fuel ratio leans out. The gauge shows boost pressure and AFR, eliminating a need for another gauge and pod.
I decided to run E85 since my fuel pump was more than capable of supplying the flow. My tuner advised me to get an ethanol content meter. The sensor’s nipnips are meant for 3/8” quick connects, so I grabbed a pair of 3/8 to -6AN fittings from Racetronix. (Be aware the B15 fuel rail and fuel pump assembly use 5/16” fittings)
Innovate Ethanol Content and Fuel Temp
Oil Pressure, Voltage, and Exhaust Gas Temp
This was a fun project. I wanted to monitor all three of these parameters, but I didn’t want to have a bunch of gauges crowding my vision. I started with exhaust gas temperature. Many years ago, I picked up a neat gadget from Matt Figel that reads EGTs. It came with a probe for the manifold and a PC board in a case with a digital LCD display. For voltage, I went to eBay for the smallest digital volt meter I could find. Voltage was the easiest and cheapest of these three. Lastly, I got the absolute cheapest oil pressure gauge I could find on eBay with the intentions of taking it apart and only using the digital LCD along side the other two. I then took to Amazon to find some black smoked acrylic and a sweet light up button for on/off toggle to start the project. The cubby in the dash fit these guys pretty nicely and my vision began to take shape. I was not disappointed in the final result. I think it’s cool as fuck.
It is a 52mm digital LCD with a red oil pressure warning LED by Dragon Gauges… never heard of them, but the gauge is simple and I wasn’t afraid to break it if my idea didn’t work out. It comes with a pressure sender, which is honestly pretty bulky and seemed like a lot of mass for the oil pressure sensor adapter to hold up when considering the engine vibrations. To make myself feel better about that, I got a 12” -4AN oil feed line that came with a 1/8NPT adapter to remote mount the pressure sending unit itself (read up on my K-Tuned oil pressure adapter/oil feed setup).

Voltage Meter
A very basic and cheap 3-wire digital volt meter.
Picked up from Matt Figel 8 to 10 years ago, this buddy is a simple temp probe to a seemingly complicated programmable PC board (got buttons on it?) with a somewhat large digital display. It takes battery voltage, chassis ground, and a positive and negative lead for the probe itself. Wires to the probe are in a steel braided sleeve for protection from heat and damage. I simply mocked up fitment for the probe and drilled and tapped the manifold, done. I wanted it in #1, but considering the alternator bracket and heat shields, it had to be #2.
